TOAST.net Knowledge Base

If you have digital pictures or videos, you can upload them to your Members Web Page for friends and family to see. It's very simple and all you need to know is your TOAST.net user name and password -- then just follow these instructions:

I. Viewing Photos

1. From the Start Page (www.toast.net/start), click on the Photo Sharing button across the top of the screen.
2. Enter a TOAST.net username in the "View Photos for" text box and click the Go button. Example: rascals.
3. You will now be on the main photos page where you can view pictures.

II. Managing your Photos

1. From the Start Page (www.toast.net/start), click on the Photo Sharing button across the top of the screen.
2. Click on Login, at the login window, enter your TOAST.net User Name (without prefix or suffix) and Password, then click OK.

Once logged in you can create new folders, delete folders and pictures, view statistics and upload pictures.

III. Uploading your Pictures

You can organize your photos into different folders. Click the make a new folder link to create a folder. You can also create folders inside other folders.

1. Click on the Upload Photos link to publish or delete pictures in your album.
2. If prompted, click the Open or Run button. You may be prompted twice.
3. Click OK and wait for the next window. This can take several seconds.
4. Double click on TOAST.net Web Space.
5. In the Login As window, enter the following:
• User Name -- Your TOAST.net user name (for example, if your email address is cooper@toast.net, your User Name would be cooper)
• Password -- Your TOAST.net password
  
6. Click Login.
7. You can now drag-and-drop files directly into the white area under the address bar. Find the pictures on your computer (must be .jpg or .jpeg) and drag/drop them into the FTP:// window (or you could use Copy & Paste).
   
   
   
   
8. You can right click on any file to perform a variety of actions such as Delete, Open, Cut, Copy, etc.
9. When you are finished, simply close all windows.
