TOAST.net Knowledge Base

This article provides information on how to set up TOAST.net Newsgroup access. Newsgroup access is available with TOAST.net Dialup, DSL, and TOAST for Broadband accounts. If you are using Outlook Express or Windows Mail it is recommended to follow the Download and Install instructions.

I. Download and Install

1. Click this link -> Download Now
2. In the File Download window, choose Run.
3. If a Security Warning window comes up, choose Run.
4. Accept terms.
5. Enter your Full Name.
6. Enter your Username. You must enter your full email address @toast.net
   (for example: batman@toast.net, not just 'batman').
7. Enter your Password (case sensitive), and click OK.
8. To begin using, go to Outlook Express and click the news.toast.net link in your Folders window.
9. When asked to download and subscribe to folders, click Yes.
